YAG Impact Report Highlights the Power of Youth Participation in YOUTHreach

We are proud to share the very first YOUTHreach Youth Advisory Group (YAG) Impact Report, showcasing an inspiring year of youth-led collaboration, creativity and impact across the consortium.

Over the past year, YAG members from across Europe have played an active role in shaping YOUTHreach activities: from contributing to ethical discussions and co-creating outcome measures to advising on social media strategies, research methods and youth engagement approaches. The report reflects the strong commitment of our young advisors and demonstrates why meaningful youth participation is essential in mental health research.

The report also captures memorable milestones, including the participation of YAG members at the YOUTHreach Annual Consortium Conference in Barcelona, contributions to international discussions on youth mental health, and the expansion of the YAG to include even more young voices across Europe.

A special highlight is the original YOUTHreach comic created by YAG member Alessandra, bringing the project to life through creativity and lived experience.

We would like to thank all YAG members, consortium partners and the University of Birmingham team for their dedication and collaboration in making this first year such a success.
