Andreas Bechdolf, a graduate of the Free University of Berlin Medical School, is a psychiatrist with specialized training in cognitive therapy and a health economist.
His research focuses on youth mental health, early intervention in psychosis and bipolar disorders, and innovative service models like Individual Placement and Support and home treatment, preventing and reducing coercive measures and improving psychosocial interventions for people with severe mental disorders. He co-founded soulspace, Germany’s first integrated youth mental health service.
Andreas is responsible in the scope of the YOUTHreach Consortium for conducting the evaluation of the walk-in centers as part of the YEAH study .
