Carlos Martin Isla is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Barcelona. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering and pursued a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems at Pompeu Fabra University.
He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Barcelona, where he was supervised by Prof. Karim Lekadir. His research focuses on advancing deep learning techniques and developing innovative frameworks, including federated learning (FL) and large language models (LLM).
