Anouk Boonstra is a postdoctoral researcher at Maastricht University’s Mental Health and Neuroscience (MHeNs) Research Institute. In YOUTHreach, she is involved in the continuation and evaluation of SELFIE and YEAH from the Netherlands.
Anouk Boonstra’s PhD project, completed in 2025, was focused on accessible youth mental health services and included the first outcome evaluation of the @ease youth mental health walk-in services in The Netherlands, the first cost-effectiveness/health-economic evaluation of SELFIE, and young people’s mental health service transition experiences throughout Europe, under supervision of prof. dr. van Amelsvoort and dr. Leijdesdorff.
