Iñigo de Miguel Beriain e has a bachelor in economy, a PhD in law and a PhD in Philosophy. Over the last ten years, his research has focused on issues related to ethics and law in the biomedical and public health fields and data protection and AI ethical and legal issues. He has published more than fifty articles and book chapters in journals of high impact and participated in more than twenty national and international research projects. He is a member of the Spanish Bioethics Committee, and the President of the Ethics Committee for Investigation with medicinal products (CEIm) of the Basque Country. He also advises the EU Parliament (STOA Panel). He is part of the Expert Advisory Board
