Dr Shaminka Mangelsdorf

Orygen and the Centre for Youth Mental Health, University of Melbourne

Over the past 4 years, Dr Mangelsdorf has led and supervised a team of clinicians, peer workers and career consultants for Australian NHMRC-funded research trials of Moderated Online Social Therapy (MOST).

In balancing the service’s clinical and research agendas, Dr Mangelsdorf also works closely with the Clinical Leadership Group of MOST, enabling engaging and effective therapeutic support on Orygen Digital’s flagship digital mental health service, and shaping digital care for thousands of young people (current n=14000).

This knowledge of the clinical processes of MOST will be integral to the smooth completion of this research project within a live service.
