Sascha Struijs is an assistant professor of Clinical Psychology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, a licensed healthcare psychologist (GZ-psycholoog), and holds a background in epidemiology. His research focuses on developing and evaluating innovative, scalable interventions for youth mental health.
Within the YOUTHreach project, he is involved in the implementation and scientific evaluation of the MOST intervention (Moderated Online Social Therapy), a hybrid platform combining digital, professional, and peer support. He focuses on assessing its feasibility, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness for young people across Europe.
Sascha also contributes to broader efforts in promoting early, accessible, and evidence-based mental health support for youth.
