Professor Mario Alvarez-Jimenez is Chief of Orygen Digital and a Professor in Digital Mental Health at the University of Melbourne. He founded Orygen Digital, a world-leading centre focused on digitalising and personalising youth mental health care at scale. He has ≥220+ scientific articles, secured ≥$158.1 million in funding, and received 11 prestigious awards.

Prof Alvarez-Jimenez developed Moderated Online Social Therapy (called ‘MOST’). MOST  is a multi-award winning, evidence-based digital intervention, now implemented in ≥400+ Australian clinics supporting ≥10,000+ young people every year. He will lead the design (WP2), implementation (WP6), and analysis (WP9) of evaluating and scaling MOST in YOUTHreach.
