Dr. Sophie Leijdesdorff is a psychologist and assistant professor. Her aim is to take away all barriers to care for young people with mental health problems. Her research focuses on innovative youth mental health interventions, assessing their accessibility, effectiveness and cost-effectiveness. She sees great value in involving young people, often with lived experience of mental health problems, in her research as co-researchers, and developed herself as qualitative researcher to give young people a voice trough eg. interviews.
