Dr. Ricky Janssen

Assistant Professor
School for Mental Health and Neuroscience (MHeNs)

I work in the field of Global Health and draw on disciplinary approaches from medical anthropology, care ethics and science and technology studies to understand how digital health technologies work across different contexts.

My research explores how these technologies contribute to health (in)equity and the relationships between, patients, healthcare providers, and health services.

As part of the YouthReach team, I will use qualitative research methods to explore youth and stakeholder engagement as well as the ethical aspects of how digital and face-to-face interventions work in different settings in the YOUTHreach project.
