We’ve officially launched the YOUTHreach Mental Healthcare Advisory Group (MAG)!

Read more about the outcomes of our first MAG meeting!

On the 19th and 22nd of May, we hosted our very first MAG meetings — bringing together 18 passionate individuals from Denmark, Estonia, Netherlands, Italy, UK, Germany, France, and Spain.

A special shout-out to our Youth Advisory Group (YAG) members who brought their invaluable lived experience into the conversation.

The MAG is a collaborative, co-creative space where professionals, carers, and young people (aged 14–25) work together to reimagine youth mental health services.

Guided by Theory of Change, our mission is to identify the best care pathways and clinical needs for the three YOUTHreach interventions — across all our clinical sites.

Our first discussions tackled questions like:

  • How do informal and formal pathways to care intersect?
  • What does Theory of Change look like in real life?
  • What are the challenges in referral pathways per country?
  • How do age classifications impact service transitions?
  • What role does social media play in navigating care?

Thank you to everyone who joined (or will join in the next meeting): your insight and energy are shaping the future of youth mental healthcare in Europe.
